Black Sherif, Ghanaian musician, is not at all pleased with Black Stars forward Osman Bukari’s performance during Ghana’s 2-2 tie with Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations. The second Group B match between Ghana and Egypt took place on Thursday, January 18, at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.

Regretfully, Bukari’s costly error inside the box allowed Egypt to equalise, as Mohammed Trezeguet dispossessed him and found Mostafa Mohammed for the game-winning goal. Ghanaian followers, such as the gifted musician Black Sherif, were not blind to this inaccuracy. He wrote, ” you comot bench come dash free goal, herh”

Ghana Draws With Egypt In Their Second AFCON Game

The Black Stars’ clash against Egypt was a high-stakes affair, as both teams were determined to solidify their positions in the tournament. Ghana, eager to claim their first continental title in over four decades, got off to a promising start with Kudus netting both goals for the team.

However, the tides turned when Bukari lost possession, allowing Egypt to equalize and ultimately resulting in a draw. This outcome left Ghana at the bottom of Group B, while Egypt maintained their second position.

Despite the disappointment for Ghana, there was a silver lining in Mohammed Kudus’ exceptional performance. His remarkable display earned him praise from his teammate Gyan, who took to Twitter to express his appreciation for Kudus’ efforts.

Kudus’ two goals during the match showcased his skill and talent, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to secure a victory for Ghana. With only one point from two games, the Black Stars find themselves at the bottom of Group B.

Now, Ghana must rely on a Cape Verde triumph over Mozambique today, as they desperately need a resounding victory over Mozambique on Sunday to advance to the next round of the tournament. Regardless of the circumstances, Ghana’s fate hangs in the balance, and they must give it their all to keep their tournament hopes alive.
